Meeting: July
18th

Ray
McBerry, candidate for Governor
Politically, I consider myself a "constitutionalist" - that is,
I strongly support a return to the original principles of our
Founding Fathers. Although I have voted for Democrats, Republicans,
and even Independent candidates at times in my adult life, I do
not support the globalist, socialist policies of either the Democrat
or Republican parties at the national level; but I do feel that
most Georgians for Georgia Governor who vote Republican feel about
the same as myself… folks who support traditional values and a
return to the Bible and the Constitution.
John
Oxendine, candidate for Governor
The next Governor faces many issues some we know about such as
soaring Medicaid enrollment , the potential for closed hospitals,
rising unemployment, the drought, traffic congestion, failing
schools, an overflowing prison system, skyrocketing public debt,
and a $2 billion budget deficit. It is imperative that Georgia
have a Governor who can work with both the House and the Senate.
The Oxendine message to Georgia taxpayers: Let's join together
and transform Georgia.
Bill
Stephens, candidate for Congressional District 9
Stephens was elected to the Georgia Senate in 1998 serving eight
years and rising from a back bench Freshman to Senate Majority
leader in less than five years. As a result of the Redistricting
process, Senator Stephens represented 13 different North Georgia
counties in the Senate at one time or another. Stephens' business
career has included the presidency of a small communications firm
and more than ten years in the banking industry in Gainesville
and North Georgia. Today he is Vice President of Southern Highlands,
LLC, and still maintains other family interests in North Georgia.
